Seoul Samsung Thunders (KBL) inked 25-year old American ex-international forward Kennedy Meeks (208-118kg-95, college: UNC, agency: Network Sports International). He played in the summer at Team CP3 (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. The last season Meeks played at Hokkaido in Japanese B1 League where in 31 games he averaged impressive 21.0ppg, 10.9rpg, 2.7apg, 1.2spg and 1.2bpg. Meeks was a member of USA Senior National Team in 2017.
He is a very experienced player. Meeks has played also professionally in NBA (Denver Nuggets), Japan (Aishin Sea Horses), NBA G League (Raptors 905 Missisauga) and NBA Summer League (Charlotte Hornets).
Among many awards he played in the final of NBA G League in 2018. Meeks received also All-ACC Honorable Mention award back in 2015 and 2017 at his college time.
He attended University of North Carolina until 2017 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
Meeks' game is described as: Has transformed himself since arriving at Carolina weighing close to 320 pounds, dropping approximately 40 pounds through diet and conditioning Has good court sense, a soft touch on his shot around the basket and good rebounding instincts.
